During the recent rainy seasons, many states in Bharat have been ravaged by heavy floods. Hundreds of VHP workers in states of Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala etc have been engaged in providing relief to the needy in the last 15 days. Evacuation from the flood affected areas, arranging temporary accommodations by providing tarpaulin structures or buildings elsewhere, providing food – clothing- medical aid, cleaning of water resources – this way thousands of people have been helped in each of the above states.
